A little bit about the team at The Bay Tree...

Mike, Valerie and Sarah Moore welcome you to The Bay Tree restaurant, our latest venture in picturesque Arundel.  After building the Six Bells at Lyminster into a large, successful gastro pub, we decided we wanted something smaller and more intimate to concentrate on.  The Bay Tree is certainly more intimate and cosy, although we have already had to extend into next door due to popular demand! 

Most of our staff have been with us for many years (Alison, Linda, Jackie and Tina out front and Dave, Eric and Karen in the kitchen) which means that we have a wonderfully friendly, homey atmosphere at the Bay Tree where even some of our customers feel like part of a large extended family.  We have some ‘newbies’ on board, including Alice, a part time chef and Clare, our resident Sommelier who has done well in getting us all trying, and generally drinking, more wine.

This relaxed and informal atmosphere promotes a wonderful dining experience that is pretty unique in the area: exceptional food in a laid back environment, a great recipe for a wonderful time.
